Terms of Service

Effective Date: October 12, 2026 • Version 2.4.2

1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Overview

Welcome to NextRide (ā€œNextRideā€, ā€œweā€, ā€œourā€, or ā€œusā€). NextRide provides a telephone-first automated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and two-way Short Message Service (SMS) mobility and community information platform engineered for commuters who live a kosher lifestyle using kosher feature phones without web browsers, application stores, or internet access.

By dialing NextRide telephony lines (including +44 330 053 3944), transmitting an SMS message to NextRide numbers, or creating an account at nextride.online, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (ā€œTermsā€) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

3. Telephony (IVR) & Two-Way SMS Messaging Terms

U.S. Carrier & CTIA Regulatory Messaging Disclosure

Program Name: NextRide Transit Alerts & Inquiries

Program Description: Commuters send transit stop codes or municipal keywords via SMS to receive real-time schedule information. Additionally, telephone IVR callers may request a written SMS summary of their current lookup results.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies depending on commuter lookup activity and requested alerts.

Cost & Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Standard carrier text messaging rates apply to all outbound and inbound messages.

Help & Support: For assistance, text HELP to our messaging number, email support@nextride.online, or call +44 330 053 3944.

Opt-Out & Cancellation: You can cancel SMS notifications at any time by texting STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. Upon sending STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and no further text messages will be sent to your mobile device.

Carrier Liability: Mobile carriers (including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, EE, O2, Vodafone, Three) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Plan Gating: Two-way SMS transit queries and in-call IVR SMS summaries are exclusively available to active paying subscribers on Pay As You Go (PAYG), Monthly, Annual Standard, and Annual Large Family plans. Callers on the free ad-supported tier are excluded from SMS transit lookups, except for Taxi Dispatch services which remain accessible to all callers.

4. Plans, Token Economics & Billing

NextRide operates a transparent, localized token and subscription ledger. Account balances and family sharing are managed through the Customer Portal:

  • 7-Day Free Trial: Auto-provisioned on first inbound dial with 10 complimentary lookup tokens.
  • Free Ad-Supported Tier: Includes 50 voice lookups per month sponsored by targeted audio sponsor announcements played prior to transit results.
  • Pay As You Go (PAYG): Provides 50 telephony lookup tokens valid for 12 months, supporting up to 2 family numbers.
  • Monthly Plan: Includes 100 voice calls per month and a dedicated monthly SMS quota (40 SMS queries), supporting up to 4 family members. Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled.
  • Annual Standard Plan: Includes 100 voice calls per month (1,200/year) and 40 SMS queries per month, supporting up to 5 family members (includes 2 free months). Renews annually.
  • Annual Large Family Plan: Includes 200 voice calls per month (2,400/year) and 80 SMS queries per month, supporting up to 9 family members with dedicated priority routing. Renews annually.
  • Top-Up & SMS Booster Packs: Subscribers can purchase 100-token voice top-ups or 50-SMS Booster Packs at any time. Top-up tokens never expire and roll over indefinitely.
  • Grace Call Policy: When monthly quotas and tokens are exhausted, NextRide allows exactly one emergency grace call per calendar month to ensure commuters are never stranded.

Supported Global Currencies: NextRide processes payments via Stripe in 12 localized currencies: GBP (Ā£), USD ($), EUR (€), ILS (₪), CAD ($), CHF, AUD ($), BRL (R$), ARS ($), MXN ($), ZAR (R), and GIP (Ā£). All payments are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable statutory consumer protection law.

5. Halachic Shabbat & Jewish Holiday (Melacha) Policy

In adherence to Jewish religious law (Halacha) and project invariants (INV-07), NextRide strictly suppresses all automated proactive communications—including global promotional announcements, outbound SMS marketing broadcasts, administrative renewal notices, and proactive customer support callbacks—during the Sabbath (Shabbat) and Jewish Biblical Holidays (Yom Tov) in accordance with the caller’s geolocated astronomical sunset and Havdalah times.

Direct, real-time incoming transit lookups initiated by a caller dialing the service or sending a text message are processed automatically.

6. Accuracy Disclaimers & Warranties

NextRide integrates directly with authoritative transit authority feeds (e.g. Transport for London, Department for Transport BODS, Network Rail Darwin, Open-Meteo, Hebcal, and central banks). However, transit departure countdowns, delay notifications, platform allocations, and flight statuses are live estimates subject to vehicle breakdowns, traffic congestion, weather emergencies, and external API outages.

NEXTRIDE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN ā€œAS ISā€ AND ā€œAS AVAILABLEā€ BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT TRANSIT ARRIVALS, RAIL TIMES, OR FLIGHT ESTIMATES WILL BE 100% ERROR-FREE OR THAT TRANSIT OPERATORS WILL ADHERE TO BROADCAST SCHEDULES.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXTRIDE AND ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES—INCLUDING MISSED FLIGHTS, MISSED TRAINS, MISSED BUSES, EMPLOYMENT DISPUTES, OR PERSONAL INCONVENIENCE—ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
